As a crucial member of our Business Intelligence team, your role centers on the design, development, and maintenance of our reporting platform. Your primary focus will be crafting reports to monitor trading portfolios and associated risks. Working closely with colleagues from Trading Operations, you'll play a vital role in supporting daily activities for traders, dispatchers, and risk managers.
Your Core Responsibilities:
Analyze, process, and interpret data from diverse sources.
Develop and maintain reporting ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
Collaborate on the design, development, and upkeep of reports.
Address spontaneous requests from various business departments, ensuring effective support for their operations.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the BI team, actively participating in building a consolidated reporting platform.
Gain a comprehensive understanding of commodity trading, encompassing IT systems and data integrations.
Your Skillset:
Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and ETL processes.
Advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Practical experience using Python for data analytics and engineering.
Familiarity with commodity trading or a strong desire to learn about it.
Creative problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
What we value:
Familiarity and previous experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Experience with Power Automate.
Prior exposure to a cloud environment, as we're transitioning to the cloud.
