Our international client with a Shared Service Center in Prague is currently looking for a General Ledger Accounting manager to lead their accounting and compliance department responsible for the EMEA region.
As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading an accounting team and team of outsourced statutory accountants
- Performing and leading end-to-end accounting activities for the EMEA region and various legal entities
- Ensuring the timely completion of monthly processes
- Managing the preparation of financial reports for management
- Continuous process optimization and improvement, participation in transformation projects
- Management of staff processes including recruitment, training, development, performance measurement
- Relevant educational background, Qualified accountant (ACCA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent)
- Complex accounting experience needed ideally from an SSC
- Knowledge of IFRS, US-GAAP needed
- Knowledge of statutory accounting, internal controls, technical accouting
- Proven record of successful leadership and management experience
- Fluent English (C1)
- Knowledge of SAP is a must
