As a Junior VAT Accountant you would be responsible for:
- Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns for multiple EMEA entities
- Review and verify financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with VAT laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VAT regulations and changes in tax legislation.
- Support the reconciliation of VAT accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of VAT audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Assist in the development and implementation of VAT compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support in other ad hoc tasks from business
Location: Prague - Palmovka
Start: ASAP
Salary: 43 000 - 56 000 CZK/month
Requirements:
- Education in Accounting, Finance, Taxes or a related field.
- Basic understanding of VAT principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. .
- Prior experience or internships in accounting or finance is a plus.
