We are looking for a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our IT hub in Prague. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for using data to create innovative solutions that improve business outcomes for our insurance company.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement predictive models to identify trends and patterns in data that can be used to inform business decisions
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify insights and opportunities for improvement in our insurance products and services
Collaborate with other teams within the IT hub to develop data-driven solutions that meet business requirements
Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and validate models
Communicate complex technical concepts and analytical results to non-technical stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, and apply them to our insurance business where relevant
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of data-driven solutions and make recommendations for improvement
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in a data science or similar role
Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
Experience with Python, R or other programming languages commonly used in data science
Proficient in SQL and working with large datasets
Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience with insurance industry data and concepts is a plus
