What else would be expected of you:
- Supporting product development and identifying innovative opportunities through market and technology research
- Determine project scope, timing, implementation approach, and resource requirements
- Leading a project team preparing 2D and 3D layouts while meeting time and cost targets
- Approve the prepared documentation
- College education from technical field prefferably electronics / mechanical design
- English on B2 level
- Experiences with leading projects from the automotive field ( batteries, internal combustion engines etc.)
- Effective delivery of this kind of project from clean-sheet design to hardware development
- Experiences in cell welding, copper and aluminum joining techniques
- Designing for high current and high voltage (12 to 1200VDC) power systems (connectors, bus bars, cables, contactors & fusing), electronic PCB outline and packaging, wiring harness routing
- Volume manufacturing techniques such as sand and die casting for aluminum and iron castings, extrusions, plastic injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, metal joining (welding/riveting/bonding), PCB manufacture, and wire harness assembly
- Understanding of 3D CAD systems
