As an Analyst Developer, you will participate in analysis, design, development and maintenance of trading analytics software solutions. You will work closely with traders and trading analysts to ensure that new analytical software solutions are being built to meet their business needs and requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Building an in-depth understanding of commodity trading environment, platforms and technologies relating to it, and providing technical expertise required for high-quality analytical software development and application of complex mathematical concepts (numerical programing, predictive modeling, …) for achieving positive trading objectives
- Supporting front-office with providing design, development, testing, documentation and management of both, new and existing analytical modules and applications
- Actively collaborating with traders and trading analysts to systematically improve the results of already existing solutions and keeping up with constantly changing environment
- Collecting, processing and communicating requirements for software development stemming from direct needs of traders and trading analysts
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage
- Experience in back-end and front-end application development, preferably of analytical applications in Python and JavaScript.
- Experience with GIT is advantageous
- Passion for software development, eagerness to learn latest technologies
